About Circle X
Christen Cox has been in the equine industry professionally and independently since 2010. She became an entrepreneur and started her own training business in 2015, famously known as Wild Heart Horsemanship. In 2015 she began venturing into the world of wild horses that were gathered by the Bureau of Land Management. In January 2016, she built her facility to begin gentling wild horses and burros through T.I.P. T.I.P. stands for Trainer Incentive Program and is a program sponsored by a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization known as The Mustang Heritage Foundation. With this nonprofit, she works to train wild, untouched BLM horses and burros to be adopted into their forever homes.
In her five years of being a TIP trainer, Christen placed over 350 wild horses and burros into their forever homes. She also continued to branch out nation wide with competing in the Extreme Mustang Makeovers. All horses exhibited in the competitions have only 100 days of training. The purpose of these makeovers is to showcase the beauty, versatility and trainability of wild horses. Christen competed in her first competition in September 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas at the Player's Choice Extreme Mustang Makeover. She began riding her competition horse on the 1st day out of the BLM pens as a wild horse, and continued onto competition placing in the top 40 out of 121 competitors at her first makeover. Since then, Christen has retired from TIP training to provide dedication and focus to her now well established riding lesson program - teaching children of all ages focusing on barrel racing and gymkhanas and began training show horses for AQHA & APHA. Her discipline focus is ranch versatility, ranch trail, reining and working cow horse. Christen also has a vast range of experience of equine body work, including red light therapy, hands on massage, and is a certified MagnaWave Practitioner.

In 2023, Christen decided it was time to sell her 100+ horse boarding facility in Mesa, Arizona and move their family cross country for a slower pace lifestyle. Now having more time to focus on family and her personal horses, Christen has began rebranding herself and her business. She is currently focusing on promoting her new business MagnetiX Therapy while continuing training on her personal horses to show in the AQHA shows in 2024. Christen is already booked for training spots in 2024 & 2025 - although, some short term training spots may come available so please contact us for info!
Circle X Ranch resides in Willard, Missouri. It was established as their new name and brand simply creating a way to not only have their own livestock brand, but to have the same brand as a logo that would include the Cox name in an innovative way.
